Manuscript diaries of a soldier in the Civil War who served as Captain in Company F, 62nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry. Includes daily entries, some of great detail. Also included are entries from later years, including copies of documents and letters and accounts. Some pages contain pencil drawings of various people. Collection includes photocopies of Chamberlin's pension documents. At back of first volume is a sheet containing photographs of the regimental officers, including Chamberlin.
